Red Seal Manufacturing & Distribution

Red Seal operates from one site in the suburb of Avondale, Auckland. It is located approximately 8 kilometers from the Central business district of Auckland, close to the North Western motorway.

Operations at the facility include:

  • Tea and toothpaste manufacturing and packaging facility
  • Vitamin & supplement bottling and packaging facility
  • Specialty cosmetics formulation, manufacturing and packaging facility
  • Warehousing and distribution
  • Quality Control laboratory, and research & development facility
  • Head office incorporating finance, sales, marketing , human resources , export and administration.

Each of the facility operates in segregated rooms and are environmentally controlled to meet the high standard of food safety hygiene set by the Australia and New Zealand Food Safety Authority.

The facility is able to produce:

  • Tea Packaging of up to 30 million tea bags per year
  • Vitamins and supplement bottling and packaging up to 70 million tablets/capsules per year
  • Toothpaste manufacturing and packaging up to 5 million tubes per year

Red Seal adheres and complies with the strict New Zealand & Australian Food Safety regulations, and is regularly audited by internationally recognized SGS group for its Food Safety Program and Hazard Analysis and Contamination Control Procedures. A team of highly qualified Chemists, pharmacists, microbiologist, and natural health practitioners ensures that such standards are maintained at all times.

A key element in the company’s operations has been the strong focus n the development of new product formulations and manufacturing know how.

Over the years, Red Seal has been the recipient of a number of acknowledgements from consumer bodies for the value and quality of their products. Such recognitions are testimony to the standards that they have set for their products.
