Red Seal Manufacturing & Distribution

Red Seal operates from one site in the suburb of Avondale, Auckland. It is located approximately 8 kilometers from the Central Business District of Auckland, close to the North Western motorway.

Operations at the facility include:

  • Tea and toothpaste manufacturing and packaging facility
  • Vitamin & supplement bottling and packaging facility
  • Specialty cosmetics formulation, manufacturing and packaging facility
  • Warehousing and distribution
  • Quality Control laboratory, and Research & Development facility
  • Head office incorporating finance, sales, marketing , human resources , export and administration.

Each of the facilities operate in segregated rooms which are environmentally controlled to meet the high standard of food safety hygiene as set out by the Australian and New Zealand Food Safety Authorities.

The facility is able to produce:

  • Tea Packaging ~ of around 30 million tea bags per year
  • Vitamins and supplement bottling and packaging ~ of around 70 million tablets/capsules per year
  • Toothpaste manufacturing and packaging ~ of around 5 million tubes per year

Red Seal adheres to and complies with the strict New Zealand & Australian Food Safety regulations, and is regularly audited by the internationally recognized SGS group for its Food Safety Program, Hazard Analysis, and Contamination Control Procedures. A team of highly qualified chemists, pharmacists, microbiologists, and natural health practitioners ensure that such standards are maintained at all times.

A key element in the company’s operations has been the strong focus in the development of new product formulations and manufacturing know-how.

Over the years, Red Seal has been the recipient of a number of acknowledgements from consumer bodies for the value and quality of its products. Such recognitions are testimony to the standards that they have set for their products.
